Success isn't about how much money you make. It's about the difference you make in people's lives.

Yes, it’s TRUE! I was so amazed when we discussed with each other about the company plan and the system.

Di ba ang networking ay “people helping people business”?

Madalas itong nangyayari sa isang legit MLM Company based on my observations. Why? Don’t get me wrong but take this as a challenge and healthy tips! Hindi ko alam ang WHY nyo bakit kayo nag-networking but please stop doing unethical practice that leads to SCAM! Learn how to be fair…and educate yourself with basic skills and wisdom para magawa ang negosyo ng TAMA. Act as a professional one dahil maraming buhay ang nasisira. Lahat ng MLM Company gaano man ka-legitimate, baguhan man o matagal na sa industriya ay pwedeng humantong sa ganitong gawain ang kanilang mga investors o business partners. Pinoy networkers please do observe and practice your company rules and regulations accordingly! Be responsible enough dahil big time business ang dinadala natin.

Wag mo kalimutang mag-like at mag-comment.

Juan joined an MLM company.
It’s his first time to do network marketing.
He gave his best in building the business.
His effort paid off in 8 months.
He started earning P20,000/month.
Then the unthinkable happened.
His company closed.

All of a sudden, his dreams shattered into pieces.
Another company emerged.
This time Juan is confident because he’s one of the pioneers.
To his surprise, the company only lasted 9 months. He said,
“di nako magne-network kailanman…”

Pero alam naman natin ang kasabihang..
“..once a networker, always a networker…”
Sabi ni Juan, “Cge, I’ll try one more time. Last na talaga to!” And so he joined this new MLM company. It survived for one year.
What happened to those companies? I remember John Maxwell saying “Everything rise and fall in leadership.”
Many companies have great marketing plan.
Others even promise you a P100 million potential monthly income.
Some companies have great quality products.
Many testimonies proved that they were healed from their disease.
But again, why did they close? It boils down to the quality of leadership those companies had.
WARNING: What you are about to read are real life MLM scenarios.
However, the names and figures are fictitious.
I’m not singling out any company here. You can use your imagination.

Why MLM companies CLOSE in the Philippines?
Scenario #1.
The company was owned by 4 people.
All of them are experienced networkers.
And so they started the business.
The business was doing good until one of them decided to go “solo” (para ma-solo niya ang profit).
The renegade owner formed his own company. Made some loans in the bank and “pirated” leaders from his “original” company by making outrageous offers. He managed to convince 40% of the leaders to join the bandwagon.
The rest is history.
The “original” company losing its leaders and distributors so fast that they didn’t see it coming. They were compelled to close.
Scenario #2.
There are times when companies are owned by people with no business backgrounds but have good medical backgrounds.
They started the business, tried it and then they realized that they don’t have the stomach (stamina) to handle the business pressure.
And so they opted to close the company and chosen to employ the traditional channels of distribution like drugstores. (Kawawang mga distributors. Sayang yung customers na na-develop nila).
Scenario #3.
Some owners don’t have the intention to last in the business. I mean they know beforehand that they’re going to close and they really have planned it. (it’s like those bank robbers planning to rob a bank. It’s all pre-meditated)
To them, MLM is just a means to dispose their products.
I have this particular downline months ago.
A company offered her to be the “001” of their MLM perfume company. Entry level is below P500.
The company told her the gameplan. (im glad there’s still an ounce of honesty left in that company).
They have thousands of unsold perfumes.
Once all the products are sold out, they’re going to close the company. They have no intention to produce more perfumes. (Poor distributors. They have no idea what misfortune theyre getting into)
Scenario #4.
Companies outsource their products somewhere else. 99% of companies are purely marketing arm. They don’t produce or manufacture their products. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
Sometime in 2005, a big MLM company came in the country. They got their products from China because they have a huge plantation there.
Then a big misunderstanding took place in the higher levels of the management.
The mother company from China decided to stop supplying the products. The sad thing was distributors have no idea what was going on. Lahat sila eh humahataw nationwide when in fact the company no longer exist…
Scenario #5.
Some MLM owners are only after the profit.
Here’s the story…
2 best friends decided they want to venture in network marketing. They have the money to invest in MLM.
They contacted a “computer” expert guy who understand the mechanics and marketing plans of MLM companies.
Investor: I want to start an MLM company and I want this particular marketing plan.
(and so they made marketing plan simulations with the “computer” guy.)
Investor: How much I earn in 10 pairs/day?
How bout 16 pairs/day?
I.T. guy: your profit is P5 Billion in this marketing plan but according to my computation your company will only last 6-7 years to avoid “over payout”.
Investor: that’s okay. Lets go for it. Don’t worry about the distributors or the networkers, I’ll just form another MLM company once mag-close ang itatayo nating company. All I need is to bring in the leaders at puputok ulit ako.
Scenario #6.
Many MLM owners have been to many traditional business.
To them, MLM is just another business venture or experiment.
George invested in food business. It worked.
He tried real state business. It didn’t work.
He decided to move on with the next business which is transporation. It went well.
“how bout I’ll try putting up my own MLM company? kapag di nag-work, eh di iclo-close ko lang. as simple as that.” ganito ang mindset nila.
To them, its purely business. Nothing personal.
Scenario #7.
It’s a phenomenal company. (The #1 earner was reaping huge incomes month after month.
All of a sudden, with all the earnings and popularity he’s getting… a great idea hit him!
“why not I go to the next level? I don’t want to be a networker all throughout my life. Owning a company looks promising…”
The top earner decided to form his own MLM company.

Smurkydad’s thoughts:
After reading everything I’ve said, did you begin to worry?
That’s good. It’s a valid feeling. That means you’re smarter now by being cautious. That’s means you’re now vigilant.
First. I don’t want to see you “hataw ng hataw” and then before you know it biglang nag-close na pala ang company mo.
Second. I don’t want seeing you guys jumping from one company to another. Without you knowing, you’re already becoming a “junkie”.
Again, MLM companies “close” because of leadership issues.
SOLUTION:
Choose a company who’s got solid leadership ability.
Check the owner’s business background before joining. (that’s what I did)

Network marketing, multi-level marketing (MLM) or direct selling is a popular business scheme, not only in the Philippines, but also in other parts of the world. This kind of business can be done part-time or full-time. Whether you’re young or old, a professional or still a student, network marketing can be a lucrative business for you if done the right way. If you want to achieve success in MLM or network marketing, here are 10 tips to succeed in this industry.

1. Choose the right company. Make sure that the MLM company you are joining is a legitimate one. Check out if it is duly registered and have all the necessary legal requirements to do business in your place or country. In the Philippines, a legitimate business should have a certificate of registration with the Securities of Exchange Commission (SEC) if it’s a partnership or a corporation, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) if it’s a sole proprietorship, Mayor’s Business Permit, Bureau of Internet Revenue (BIR), and other applicable registrations when necessary. A legit business should also issue a BIR official receipt or sales invoice every time you pay money for a product or service from them.

2. Choose the right products. Aside from choosing a legitimate MLM company, choose the company that offers products you can really promote. If an MLM company doesn’t have any product at all, and it’s just all about talk, then it’s not a good business. Choose a company with high-quality products that can really help people have a better life. Pick products that you can be confident in promoting and selling it to people.

3. Create a marketing plan. Strategic planning is a vital step in marketing. If you want to be a successful network marketer, then you have to make a game plan. Define your long-term goals, set your specific objectives, and establish your steps and procedures to achieve those goals and objectives.

4. Be the manifestation of the product you are selling. Do not promote or sell products you haven’t used and proven to be useful to you. Make yourself the living evidence that your products are great and effective. If you want to become highly convincing, then you should convince people not only by your words, but also by your actions and way of life. For example, if you’re promoting health products, then you must show to them that you become healthy by using those products.  Network marketing is based on word-of-mouth marketing. Make sure that what comes from your mouth is your actual experience in using your products.
 5. Practice relationship marketing. Network marketing or multi-level marketing is also based on relationship marketing. Do not expect people to immediately believe and trust your words. You have to be patient in building good relationships with them. The MLM industry is a very competitive one. In order for you to stand out from the crowd, you don’t need to have the loudest promotional words spoken, but you need to have the most sincere words spoken and the deepest relationship built with people whom you are targeting. So make sure that your purpose is making friends and making them happy and not just in making dowlines to increase your income.

6. Respect people. In order to improve your relationship marketing campaign further, show respect to everyone. Be positive in the right way. Do not judge people that they are negative just because they ignored your invitation, but instead be polite, humbly ask an apology for getting their attention, and thank them for listening somehow. Respect is very important in network marketing because it is an important key to building trust and good relationship with other people.

7. Find mentors. Learn from the success of other network marketers. Be passionate in growing your knowledge and wisdom in convincing and influencing people. You can find mentors inside your team. You can also learn by reading books, blogs, articles, and by listening from the different testimonials of other people who have already succeeded in this kind of business. Furthermore, don’t forget to learn from your customers or from your downlines – they often give you the best lessons in business and in life.

8. Guide and coach your downlines. MLM won’t succeed without teamwork. The reason it is called multi-level marketing is because it is based on team building and amalgamating the knowedge, skills and efforts of each team member, including the team leader. If you’re a team leader, make sure you are helping your entire team to move forward and achieve your common goals.

9. Build your personal brand. If you want to convince, influence and recruit more people to join in your networking business, you have to earn authority for yourself. You have to build your personal brand. There are many ways to establish your personal brand. You can build a blog, create social media profiles, contribute articles to related online publications, and other personal branding tactics to establish yourself as a trusted person in your industry.  For example, if you’re promoting health products, you can build a health blog with informational content to earn followers. You can also try getting career certifications (e.g. certified dietitian or nutritionist) that are related to health to increase your authority in the health industry.

10. Be socially responsible. Finally, share your blessings. If you are already earning money from your MLM business, give back to people who are in need. Do charity. It is a great proof that your business is really earning and you are indeed making money from it.

I hope you learn something from the list above. If you have any other proven MLM success tips to add, feel free to make a comment below and let’s start a very interesting discussion.
