Success isn't about how much money you make. It's about the difference you make in people's lives.

Once this head transplant becomes successful, the rich and politically powerful people may be able to live far longer with new bodies and spare parts, while the poor and middle-class will not be able to afford these transplants.

Even if the medical technology becomes mature and made more efficient, the rich and powerful will still bid up its prices such that it becomes out of reach for the vast majority. For example, if a "healthy body" becomes available for transplant, who do you think will get it first? The rich and powerful who can pay cash immediately, or the poor or middle-classes who will struggle to come up with a matching price? Thus, in the push-pull between market demand and supply, the price for "young bodies" would rise dramatically such that only rich and powerful old folks will desperately pay whatever it takes to get first in line. I say desperate old because its unlikely a young rich person would want to swap bodies until they reach an advanced age where their body parts begin to fail.

The Rich-Poor gap will widen further into the Rich-Long-Lifespan and the rest. In fact, in this dystopian Sci-fi world, many of the poor may even literally "sell" their body or body parts for a little bit of cash to those who can afford it. The rich and powerful may even "kidnap" some poor for their bodies. OMG. If such an ugly world becomes reality, then Earth would be a hellish place for human beings.

"Playing God too much can lead to very serious repercussions. It's like we are reaching too much for immortality while bordering too much on immorality... Why can we not accept that we are mortals, our bodies are weak, and instead of doing these kinds of mutations, let's just concentrate on cleaning up our environment so that it will be more conducive to our health and thus increase our life expectancy (while still remaining mortal)? I for one do not want to live forever and see the atrocities people inflict on each other."

I don't believe that this can be successful now. Internal ogans are different from body parts with muscle, bone, nerves and blood vessels. That head even has a brain in it. People needing a transplant go at great lengths to look for a 'compatible' match. But for this? A head and a body foreign to each other. I don't take the probability that this can become successful (longest can be a few months to a little over a year). But they will surely reject each other. I can't imagine the necrosis that can happen after the period of 'success'.. Eeew. Neck with dying tissue.
